Golf season is officially here! Yesterday I hit the range and it was awesome. My wife joined me to make the start of the 2016 golf season more special. The sun was shining, the wind was down and my expectations were very low!
Yes, my expectations were very low. Each year, I try to start fast because of the short playing season in Canada. However this year, using my plan I stated yesterday, I have decided to start my golf season with the proper expectations! There is a difference between starting quick and starting right. This year, I am going the take the right path because I think it will pay off more dividends in the long run.

Clowning around on April Fools Day
Happy April Fools Day! As many of you know, it is a day to pull pranks and jokes on each other for the “fun” of it. Over the years, I experienced my share of jokes and looking back some were very funny. The origins of April Fools Day is a bit murky, however the intent to for some light-hearted laughter between friends.
Over the years, I was the recipient of pranks on the golf course. They did not occur on April Fools Day, but they made for some laughter between friends for sure. I am not sure of your tolerance level of pranks of the golf course, but I do not mind the occasional prank to lighten the round. Continue reading

Writing about golf is fun, entertaining, and educational. There is an endless pool of topics to choose from that may help someone smile, learn or become frustrated. I often find it interesting how a single article can spark a heated conversation between two people and yet the same article has two different people nodding in agreement! I guess it is a matter of perspective….well actually, aren’t all our journeys a matter of perspective?
