What An Amazing 2025 Masters Finish!

Congratulations to Rory McIlroy for winning his first green jacket. Rory showed the resilience and mental strength needed to win at Augusta National and to complete his career grand slam. He made several poor (surprisingly poor) shots only to respond with amazing shots to gain back the momentum. I was amazed at some of the other scores and how many of those on the leaderboard made late surges to finish within the top 10 positions. After the dust settles, will say that the fans were the big winners as the 2025 Masters was the most exciting Major I watched in many years!

An Exciting Moving Day At The 2025 Masters

Moving day at the 2025 Masters was by far the most fun to watch in years. Saturday is traditionally the time when players make their move to position themselves for the final push on Sunday. Two players stood out and a couple moved up the leaderboard. With only 18 holes to go, I predict that if a player is not with five strokes, the chances of winning the green jacket are virtually non-existent. Although it is possible, it is unlikely that Patrick Reed or Ludvig Åberg will shoot well enough and Rory McIlroy, Corry Conners or Bryson DeChambeau will all play poorly enough to open the door for a run from down the field. So, with this in mind, what can expect in the final round of the 2025 Masters.

The Grateful Golfers 2023 Masters Predictions

As I sit and contemplate who is going to step up at this year’s Masters, I find it hard to focus because a tremendous freezing rain storm rages in my area. No this is not a metaphor for anything, my entire region is being pelted with freezing rain which will result in everything being encased by ice today. With the strength of Atlas, I will forge ahead with my top three picks for champion and one dark horse for the first Major of 2023.

The 2021 Masters Champion: Hideki Matsuyama

It was a nail biter, but Hideki Matsuyama overcame the immense pressure to win this year’s Green Jacket. After several suspect shots by Matsuyama, I thought he was going to succumb to the microscopic analyses of his ever move and fold. As it turned out, he played well enough to make that historic walk to Butler Cabin. Congratulations Hideki!

Hello Justin Rose A Possible 2021 Masters Champion

Firing a seven under par 65 on the opening day at Augusta National sure sets Justin Rose as the possible favourite for don this year’s Green Jacket. He started off poorly, with two bogeys in the seven holes, then fired a improbable nine under for the last 11. Talk about a dramatic turn around that might lead to Butler’s Cabin. He sure blew my picks out of the water, but wait it is still early and there is plenty of golf still left to play.
