Golf is a goofy game. There are times when I hit my ball exactly as expected and then all heck breaks out. For the past three weeks, I am pulling my irons left. In many cases, I have thought I had things all figure out, but for some reason I have not been able to crack this nut. I feel that this challenge will continue to persist if I do not find a fix. I am down to two things: alignment and casting over the top of my swing. Or at least that are my thoughts at this time.

Forgetting How To Play Golf
There is an expectation that every low single digit handicap golfers hit pure shots….most of the time. The processes are very easy for onlookers because of the mystique of shooting lower golf scores. Well, I am here to set the stage straight! Not every low shooting golfer hits pure irons all the time or even a vast majority of the time. From time to time, we forget how to play golf and make ridiculous shots that would embarrass a first time player. It is the nature of the beast and I believe I experienced this first hand during my last round.

For the greater part of the season, I have struggled (to my expectations) hitting my irons. However, the past two rounds I seem to have found my old magic. I am hitting crisp clean irons that are flying on line. As I walked (yes walked) nine holes yesterday, I finally noticed two things I had overlooked for months.
