I remember, early in my golfing career, talking to a gentlemen about the different ways to play a golf shot. He suggested that there were endless possibilities and an equally number of outcomes. At the time, I took his sage advise without question, but now I am not so sure that this is the case. I guess from a purely mathematical point of view, that is possible. Lipping Out Is So Very Frustrating

Does The Speed Of The Green Actually Matter?

I do not know of any golfer who does not comment on the speed of the green during their round of golf. I know over the years I have discussed (actually complained) about the speed of the green from time to time. Looking back, I understand my frustration at the time, but have to remind myself that I have to play the conditions of the day and complaining is a waste of breath. Since I have to play the conditions of the day, I ask again: Does the speed of the green actually matter?

Remembering A Small Swing Thing Pays of Big Dividends

With the plethora of things to remember on the golf course, it is not unusual to forget a swing ‘thing’ or two. While focusing on healing my back, I overlooked a basic pre-shot routine process that had a tremendous impact on my ability to lower my scores and increase my greens in regulation (GIR). Trying The High Risk Shot In Golf

Every golfer has played themselves into a position where a high risk shot is needed.
