Over the years, I have struggled with the difference between knowing and comprehending something. The distinction might seem minor, however to truly grasp the subtle points of these terms, one must examine how they play golf and why. Chipping In for Winning Golf

How often have you missed your approach shot? I know that when I am shooting between 50 to 60% GIR, then I am having a great day. This means that during each round, I am chipping around the green between 6 and 9 times. An Interesting Chipping Game to Lower Your Scores

We talk about how important our short game is to low golf scores. Being able to successfully hit out of trouble is a game saver. I am always trying to find new and fun ways to improve my short game without having the stress of focusing on form.

Sometimes the best way to learn the skill of chipping is to just do it! I think of other sports and realize that everyone had some sort of game attached to the practice. For example, in basketball we played HORSE, around the world, blind 21, and king of the world. All of these games helped improve my shooting and foot work while having fun. Understanding our goals and level of golf we want to play is also extremely influential on your decision-making. Using a Hybrid to Chip

Accurate chipping is an important component of low golf scores. There are many influences on each chip and selecting the proper club, stroke, stance, and follow through are just a few.
