The Possibility Of Success In Golf

Anytime we set up for a golf shot, there is a possibility of a fantastic result. This happens every time without fail. I might be looking at this scenario with rose coloured glasses, but I think if you take a moment you will see that I am definitely spot on. Golf is a game of limitless possibilities with a dash (sometimes a shovel full) of disappointment. How To Successfully Change Your Golf Game

How to successfully change our golf game is the pursuit of all golfers. There is little question that if you are bitten by the golf bug, seeking any advantage (legally of course) is at the forefront of your mind when on the links. I know that after many years of playing, I have found only one constant that will successfully and without fail improve our golf game. This lesson is demonstrated to me over and over again, but to maximize my success we will need to temper and mange this one aspect of our game. It is the simplest and most difficult skill to develop. Marking Your Golf Ball For Success

Many players draw a line on their ball in order to help with alignment their putts. I guess some times they will use the same technique for other shots, but on the green is where I see the greatest benefit for this type of mark on a golf ball. I have tried this alignment aid before, but alas it did not work for me. However, I am sure there are many different ways to mark a golf ball that bring success to the players game.

A No Trouble Double In Golf

One of the most frustrating aspects of my golf game is the ‘no trouble double’ bogey. You know the hole where you are not in any trouble, but you after hitting a couple of poor shots and then 3 jacking on the green, you walk towards the next hole muttering under your breath. Of all scores that frustrate me, the ‘no trouble double’ bogey is the worst.

My Best Golf Start Ever!

What was your best start ever on the links? Recently, I was thinking about my best start and realized that it I have started at three under after three holes on 4 occasions; not bad considering I have played over thousands of rounds. Each of these rounds started with three birdies and continued on cruise control for most of the round. But more of that later!
