As you are aware, or not, I organized and I am participating in the Osprey Links Match Play Tournaments. The stroke and net events will determine the club champions and be awarded a parking spot for 2020 right beside the club house. It is a prestigious event and I have to say, the match I played yesterday was the most fun I have had in competition in a very long time!

2-Man Scramble – Day Two
The final day went as expected. Blair and I needed a fast start and want to shoot between 6 and 8 under to have a chance at any of the prizes. Of course that was our goal going in and the challenge was to successfully execute that plan. We decided not to do anything significantly different except make a few more putts. At least it was a plan.

On Wednesday, I participated in my second Men’s Night in two years. Osprey Links Golf Course reserves Wednesday night for men to gather, play golf, eat a great meal and enjoy the company of strangers. Each week, we play a different game and last Wednesday, we played ‘Vegas Scramble’. This is a fun game that provided 92 players the excitement of the unknown on each tee shot!

It finally happen last Saturday! I was able to play 18 holes of golf because our course was finally dry enough to open the front 9. The front was a bit beat up and there were 2 temporary greens, but I am grateful to the staff at Osprey Links for all their dedicated work to bring the course to a point were we can loop 18 holes. Well, I must say it was fun and challenging at the same time!
