Tiger Woods is Back, Again

Tiger Woods is set to tee it up at The Hero Challenge this coming weekend. It seems to me he made a comeback during the same event last year and lasted about 2 months. His first 3 starts for this years professional schedule are:

  • Hero World Challenge Dec. 1-4, 2016, Albany; New Providence
  • The Bahamas Farmers Insurance Open Jan, 26-29, 2017, Torrey Pines Golf Course; San Diego, California
  • Omega Dubai Desert Classic, Feb. 2-5, 2017, Emirates Golf Club; Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Tiger Woods)

Qualifying for The Champions Tour

Six months ago, I asked the question if The Champions Tour needed to lower their qualifying age. I met great resistance and most of the comments received indicated that things are fine just the way they are and a change would upset the balance of the golfing world. With the rampant speculation about Tiger Woods return to professional golf, I wonder if he is really going to try to make his 4th comeback. After posting a video on Oct 7 of his golf swing, more than 400,000 stopped by to take a look. It is amazing that he still garners that much attention and interest.
