Well I am going with Rory. PGA Championships usually allow for low scoring compared to US Open. I think Rory is the man this time. And the Vegas bookies have him at 7:1

Well I watched a bit while at work and I was appalled at his putting. He turned a 69 into a 74. But I should have known better.
The simple fact is that what Jack and Tiger did was exceptional and not normal. We have been lulled into the sense that winning golf tournaments and majors is easy if you are number 1. But it isn’t easy. Speith, Day, DJ. All good players but winning regularly at the major level is very very difficult. Rory will play well next year but will he win a major – maybe. The field is deep and majors are always tough.

Great observation! The field is deep and the days of Jack and Tiger are gone. McIlroy said a few years back that dominance on the Tour now lasts about 6 months! This is so true.

Hi JIm, I am going for Phil. As you know Rory.Jordan and Jason are out of the picture for me. Rickie will really have to step up to the plate if he wants to win his first major.

Earlier in the season I slated Rory to win the PGA, but I am abandoning that pick and going with DJ. Although Rory will probably have a backdoor top 10, I don’t think it’s Rory’s year to win a major, and I think DJ is going to put an exclamation mark on his already stellar year. If he keeps hitting that driver long and straight at Baltusrol, he’ll be tough to beat.
Sentimental pick is Phil though! Haha
