The Masters – The Final Round

Moving day did not disappoint any golfing fans. The strong play of Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler moved these players into contention for the green jacket. The media coverage of these players overshadowed the play of Lee Westwood, Charles Schwartzel, Brendt Snedeker and Jason Day; but such is the life of players too far back to be considered a threat. The Masters – Moving Day

The Masters never disappoints. After an amazing minus 7 start, Charley Hoffman appeared mortal on Day 2. He did not have that confidence and zeroed in focus we saw in his opening round and I am not surprised. Augusta National is a fantastic course that requires 5 hours of intense concentration if you have any illusions of scoring well. So, the second day of play unfolded exactly as I expected. The Masters -What to Watch

For the first time in years, I sat and watched the entire first round of The Masters. It was very interesting to observe the best professionals maneuver their way around a windy Augusta National. Of course, there were fantastic shots, crazy bounces and down right shots that players wanted back. My challenge was trying to see as many of these shots as possible to maximize my viewing pleasure.
