I love entering golf contests on Twitter and Facebook. I believe that with a click of a button, I have a chance to win some great golf swag. Well, to my surprise, I won a golf shirt from Knights of Golf. Ian Marcroft, Founder/President, sent me a wonderful looking golf shirt and it arrived yesterday in the mail. After opening my little treasure, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my new golf attire.
Most of the golf contests are easy to enter. It generally means I need to like their page and add a friend (Usually my friend Serge; he does not mind receiving an opportunity to win golf stuff either). In this case, I was required to say if I like the black or white golf shirt. I liked white. Shortly after the contest deadline, they informed me that I was a winner. How exciting is that!
Of course I had to try it on to assess the fit. After a few practice swings with my orange whip, I would assess that this large golf shirt fits comfortable. It is not loose fitting and not snug. More importantly, it did not hinder my golf swing in any way.
To help understand the fitting, I am 5’10”; about 200 lbs; and normal build. If you like loose fitting golf shirts, I recommend that you order on size larger than normal if you decide to purchase this amazing golf shirt.
The make of my new golf swag is Port Authority and is 100% polyester. One of my pet peeves for any golf shirt is its length. In this case, it is a great length and will easily be tucked in to my golf shorts.
I want to thank Ian at Knights of Golf for this wonderful gift. I look forward to wearing it this spring when my golf season starts.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
