It is finally here! The Masters starts today and it is going to be exciting. Yesterday was the Par 3 tournament and it was won by 2 Canadians. But the real winners were the professionals, their families and especially the fans.
Now it is on to the action. Let the Masters begin!
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
Tiger is only 4 strokes back, and looking strong while walking though I did see what looked like possibly the trace of a limp as he walked a few of the side hill slopes. Still, a top ten finish to start the tournament is nothing short of impressive.
And I’m sure you’re happy seeing DJ performing well out there.
The one thing that made me think amateur though was surprisingly Spieth. That practice swing of his looks terrible. He’s using it ok I guess, but that’s surely not the Spieth swing that won majors.
But most the important thing to note though was 5 guys failed to break 80 on opening day. I don’t know about you, but seeing that from pros always makes my game feel better.

Kevin,
It was an interesting day for sure. I am happy that DJ is doing well, I would like to see Rory make a few more putts. Overall it was a typical day at The Masters.
Cheers Jim
