Today, The Grateful Golfer will exceed 1,000,000 views. Since, its inception in May 2012, the number of clicks on my little golf blog has grown for reasons I am not sure. I muse about golf, offer free tips on how to play better, and seek the grateful side of golf on a regular basis. I seems like yesterday when I hit 100,000 views (2017). It is a passion and I plan to continue for a while longer.
The constant support from regular visitors is definitely a boon, however I am continually overwhelmed by positive comments from family, friends, friends of friends, and complete strangers who continue to make their way to my golf blog. My three foot golf space is constantly growing and for that I am truly grateful.

As I continue with my musings, I will stay the course. The mixture of discussion, tips, and some positive news seems to be the recipe for success here at The Grateful Golfer. I do not consider myself to be an expert, nor the end all to beat all in golf related topics.
As I stated in an earlier article: “One of the main take-aways is that people are listening. I often wonder if writing about golf everyday is worth the hours I spend and today the support from everyone showed that my 3-foot space is larger than I thought. I am inspired to continue writing and for that I am truly grateful to everyone who took the time to stop by and help. You are all amazing!” Well this statement has not changed. I am grateful.
Reaching any milestone is a good thing. This particular one was in my mind at the beginning when I wrote this first article: “Today was awesome! My best shot of the day was a 240 yard second shot into a par 5 that made the green! It was fantastic to hit the links. I am a grateful golfer!” Who would have thought that it would come to fruition.
Today is a special day and I am grateful to have been writing about my favourite sport for so long. I am grateful to all who have visited the site over the years. I started this golf blog as a way to mentally combat some medical issues. During my treatments, there were many dark days that occupied my thoughts. This is when the healing powers of golf played a significant role in my recovery. Nearing the end of my first treatments, I decided to embark on a journey of writing and positive growth through this golf blog. And look at us go now!
Thank you to everyone for your support.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
Many congratulations on reaching this impressive milestone! Have always enjoyed your thoughts and musings on the game, particularly in recent times when circumstances have kept me off the course. Rob
