In commanding fashion, Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Masters. This was his second win in three years and the fifth youngest player to win the Masters twice. There was no surprise as Scheffler lived up to his world number one ranking with long straight drives, precision irons and strong putting. Scheffler took a strong lead after Amen Corner and never looking back as he recorded a smooth 68. He earned his second green jacket!

The talk of the last round, in my humble opinion, was Amen Corner. Four of the top five players struggled through these challenging holes which directly lead to Scheffler being up by three when he finished. Specifically, holes 11 and 12 lived up to their hype by forcing the top players to struggle before heading to the final six holes.

There was no answer to Amen Corner this year. Once Scheffler had a largest lead, he never looked back. The players trying to catch him could not make anything happen (even on the two par 5s). I cannot imagine how difficult the course was playing, but Scheffler made it look easy!
