Apparently, Ball Hawking Is A Sport!

We have all done it, yes you know what I mean; we have all ball hawked at one time or another. We walk along the edge of the woods, “keeping out of the sun”, searching for that elusive with white treasure. When spotted we excitedly drop our clubs and zip into the forest hoping it is a quality ball we can use at the next water hole. Alas, it is not and it goes into the shag bag. Yup, you heard me right; the cost of golf just doubled! It is the strangest thing and no matter where you are in the world, this phenomenon happens all the time! It is the strangest thing, you walk into the club house to pay your green fees and you have to dig deeper and deeper to find the correct amount of coin to be allowed on the links. Minor Set Backs Are Expected

Working our golf game is a slow methodical process that takes time and effort. Sometimes it takes years of dedicated effort to make the adjustments needed to be a better player. Videotaping My Golf Swing

Over the years, I have video taped my golf swing. Surprisingly, I never watched it to analyse my technique. I have looked close, but I think it is a beautiful thing and does not need fixing…..haha. I have come to realize that I do cast a bit around chest area and as a result I loose some distance. Kevin, an avid reader of The Grateful Golfer, has pointed this out on several occasions. I appreciate his feedback and will use his advice as a starting point next spring. However, I was wondering if you have ever videotaped your swing. Continue reading
