Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas? Well, it is actually, but in this case it is more about being prepared. If you are like most golfers, we are very particular about the “golf stuff” we receive. There is plenty of options, but each player has unique needs and requirements. As such, having a running golf list helps take the stress out of the giver’s life. This list helps others enjoy in milestones more because they know they will buy you something you want. Unfortunately, most amateurs do not have a list and I a surprised.
Actually 60% of people do not have a list:
Although the question focused on Christmas, I can extrapolate that the majority do not have a running list either. But some do:
My point to my ramblings today is that a list of golf wants and needs is a good thing. It does not mean that we will receive everything on the list, but it does offer a no stress way for anyone wanting to give us something. I have a list, it is not long, but it is fluid. As my game changes, so does my list.
With special milestones (and Christmas) looming in the future, I recommend you make a golf list and have it on hand. You never know when someone will want to surprise you out of the blue!
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
Shooting a par Christmas week would cover it nicely.
