Is It Possible To Change Your Golf Game

I wonder if it at all possible to change our golf game? As athletes, I believe we are wired in a particular manner to compete to best of our abilities. Sometimes we cannot see past our preconceived ideas in order to improve. We believe that we have chosen the proper path to success and it takes the earth to move for us to change our mind. I know this is a probability, but because I was that type of athlete from multiple sports.

Open To Suggestions On The Golf Course

I often wonder why players would be open to unsolicited advice or instruction on the golf course. I have seen it countless times where someone will offer swing or strategic strategic advice without being asked. Improving Your Golf Swing One Shot At A Time

It is fair to say that feedback from contact helps shape our golf swing. I don’t know about you, but my great hits do not happen as often as I hope. But, I still keep swinging away hoping that the percentage of great contact continues improve. To do this, I will have to continue swinging and swinging with the intent to get better. Now What? My Golf Course Is Closed!

The dreadful day has arrived when my beloved golf course, Osprey Links, is closed……for the season. Jeff Rogerson, GM, made the call because of the tremendous amount of rain, cooler weather, and to allow his staff to but the course to bed for the winter. Generally closing on 31 October, I figure that he decided that the long term benefit for the golf course would be to close a week early. Additionally, the business side of things probably weighed into this decision and with the forecast for cooler and wetter weather all week, I would say it is a good call!
