Have you ever had the strangest feeling that you forgot something on your last golf shot? I get that feeling from time time to time and usually it is because I did! (Kind of like forgetting to write an article to be released earlier today, but that is another story…. 🙂 ) Solving this mystery or nagging feeling is a bit challenging, but not if you have a routine that sets you up for success on each shot. Even then, I sometimes scratch my head in disbelieve as I walk the 5 yards to hit my ball again.

Asking Golf Questions To Improve Your Knowledge
I am routinely asked questions about golf. Of course not being a professional or expert in some areas, I try to answer most inquiries with a source. When answering, I try to provide a source because it helps demonstrate that I am offering information that is more than just my opinion. Of course, the actual source is important as well, but that is a discussion for another day. Regardless, by asking a golf question you are demonstrating that a thirst for knowledge and that is always a good thing!

This year, I only carried my golf clubs for a few rounds. I found that the wet conditions seemed to make toting my sticks more difficult than normal. I actually missed carrying and will make a concerted effort to carry more in the spring and fall of 2021. This golf season has been very strange and not carrying is just another example of how 2020 through me for a loop.

It is that time of year when I look at putting my golf clubs away. The wet temperatures and cooler weather is the key indicator that it might be time to go through my end of season routine. 😦 😡
Although my clubs are still in my golf locker, I mean my car, I think they are starting go gather dust from lack of use. It is a matter of time (very short in fact) before I pull them out, clean them, and store them for the winter.

Today is the first round of the 2-person SportsPal tournament at Osprey Links Golf Course. It is one of the biggest tournaments of the year and my friend Blair and I have entered. We have played in this event before and finished near the bottom of the Championship flight (and out of the prizes). This year we are hoping to improve on our standings and walk away with a bit of the prize purse.
