Making the Impossible Golf Shot

Have you ever played a round of golf and were left with an impossible golf shot? You know, the one where the percentage of success is in negative numbers. I think we all have and if you are like me, you considered making the shot.

Why, you might ask? Just because I would respond. Sometimes attempting the impossible is just fun. Well a little while back, that is exactly what my friend Blair did; he tried the impossible shot! Continue reading

Do You Really Need 14 Golf Clubs?

We all know that 14 clubs is the maximum anyone can carry during a round of golf. There is no limit on the minimum number of clubs, but 14 is max. There are reasons for only 14 clubs, however that would be a topic that would take us down the rabbit hole. Knowing how to distribute the type of clubs you carry is determined by your game.

But, I really need to ask, do you really need to carry 14 clubs when you play? Continue reading

Tony Dear: Ode to Arnold Palmer

This is an awesome #GOLFCHAT article by Tony Dear. It is well worth the read. I have copied the first few paragraphs of the article and recommend you read it in its entirety!

An Englishman pays tribute to the American giant, and thanks him for revitalizing the Open Championship.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to celebrate the awesome things in our lives. Many people will travel long distances to share this fun holiday with family and friends. Personally, I like Thanksgiving because of the friendships, joy and love expressed among best friends, family, old acquaintances and people you have not met yet.

By reflecting quietly, we realize how grateful we are for all those who have touched our lives. Some times it is an encouraging word from a stranger, that unexpected phone call, or a random text from someone you are missing. Reaching out to those special in our lives is a fantastic byproduct of Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a special day. I wish you and your family all the best on this day of thanks! And if all else fails, remember:
