I enjoy playing golf games during Men’s Night. Last Wednesday, I played Vegas Scramble for the first time in my golfing career. Funny thing is, the very next day I played Vegas Scramble again for senior men’s day. What was interesting was that after using the same rules, we had different results. Waiting For Golf Sucks!
Rarely on The Grateful Golfer do I write about anything negative. But, this week the weather is awesome, the temperature is warm, and my friends are ready for me to join them at a moment’s notice. As it turns out, this is also the first week of recovery from my last chemotherapy treatment. Happy Memorial Day 2018
Memorial Day is special in the USA. It is a national holiday designed as “Remembrance of American soldiers who have died in military service.” As a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces, I want to salute my “brothers in arms” and take time to remember those who have given their lives for our freedoms.
Please take the time today to remember those who have fallen and thank a serving member or veteran.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
