What Makes A True Golf Legend?

I have often wondered what we consider a true golf legend. Is it stellar play like Scottie Scheffler who rocketed to number one in the world in just 42 days that makes you a legend? Or is it a player like Sam Snead with a longevity of wins that makes you a legend? Or is it somewhere in between? To truly be a legend in a sport might be determined by the individual and not the collective.

Are You Ready For The Masters?

In just over a week, the first Major of the year will start. The Masters is my favourite Major because of the history to this event and the fact that it is set up the exact same way every year. Augusta National is an amazing course and I love the play around Amen Corner. The field will be the strongest to date this year and picking a winner will be virtually impossible. But, I think it is time to take a chance and play armchair quarterback.

Golfing At The Drop Of Hat

Do you have the luxury to play golf at anytime? I know if you live if Florida, this is strong possibility. However, living in Canada only have six good months of golf. During our shortened season, it is important to be ready to play golf at any time especially at the drop of a hat. My move to the the Mattawa Golf and Ski Resort will off an opportunity to play and practice more golf at a cheaper cost and using less time. I am excited for my new opportunities to play golf at the drop of hat.

How Good Is Your Putting Stroke?

Great putting is the ultimate stroke saver. You can read this statement over and over again at The Grateful Golfer because I believe that finding your putting stroke is key to lower golf scores. Of course there are thousands of different methods of putting because each player has to find that one method that works for them. Whether it is the grip, stance, ball position, or tempo, each putting stroke is different.
