When Your Golf Score Never Matters

Yesterday my 2021 golf season started anew. After 6 weeks of a delay, we were finally able to hit the links. The course was full all day, but you would never know it by how professionally the staff managed the tee time flow and how players respected the social distancing rules. The day was over cast, warm, and breezy; in other words it was the perfect day to resume golfing. Since yesterday felt like our first day on the links in 2021, I focused on one thing and one thing only: having fun.

The Biggest Hazard At The PGA Championship

The PGA Championship is well underway and The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, South Carolina, is living up to its hype of being a tough course to navigate. The Ontario Government has indicated that green spaces may be open sooner than later and that this lockdown is likely to be the last. All of these rumblings and rumours are a positive sign for any golfer.

Of course we all mark our golf ball so we can easily identify it when playing. We by our golf balls with the numbers 1 to 4….most of the time. I recently purchase a dozen golf balls with 5 to 8 for something different. During my friendly rounds, I do not care which number is on my golf ball. I ensure my ball has my special mark, but that is about it. However, when it comes to competitions, that is something completely different.
