Happy New Year – 2020

Well, goodbye 2019. Last year was a year of transition in my golf game and life. On many days I had no idea what to expect, what a roller coaster ride. I am grateful that my health improved and I was able to play plenty of golf. I am happy to say that today marks a new chapter in my journey. I am excited for 2020 because the blank canvas in front of me. I have some goals that I will share in the near future once I flush out the reality of the possible.

I am feeling strong and focused and plan to continue to focus on many things golf, but more importantly I will create the year I want. It is time to reinvigorate my mental process the law of attraction. It works for me and now that I am creating a new normal, it has to be part of my daily mental good health.

Of course, regardless of what life throws my way, I will remain grateful. For being grateful is really the only way to a happy and joy-filled life.

Today is the start of your journey as well; I hope you and your special loved ones have a healthy and joyous 2020!

Good Bye 2019 – Hello Awesome Future

Many of us have specific transition days. Obviously, to embrace those days, there must be a closure day. And for me, today is one of those days. It allows me time to reflect on what was accomplished in the 365 days with an eye to what I want to create moving forward. So, as I say good bye to 2019, I am look forward to the 2020 golf season.

Thinking back to last years season (more detailed review to come), I basically am grateful for playing at all. After a crazy health scare in 2018, I enjoyed playing golf with my friends and embraced all the shots – good and bad. Yes, I wish I could have made a few more great shots, but overall I cannot complain. Complaining would not be fair to the joyous times I had on the links.

Having said that, it is time to say goodbye. As my golf game and life continues to evolve, I learned that any transition takes time and focused intent to make anything happen. This thought will be the cornerstone of my 2020 golf game. I will methodically approach changes and embrace the journey of change. Life on and off the links is going to be awesome!

On this final day of 2019, I have no regrets. Life is fantastic and I am encouraged to see what 2020 has to bring.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

Waiting Out The Storm

Today, I am waiting for a severe winter storm to pass. It will take all day and we are prepared for what Mother Nature has in store. At this time, we are experiencing just below zero (25 degrees F) temperatures, high winds, and rain. The rain is the worst part because it generally causes power outages. This, of course, is the worst in the colder temperatures, but have no fear we are prepared.

How Does Your Golf Mind Work?

I routinely ask myself this is a question. When playing each shot, I sometimes take opposite approaches to the same set of influences and yet come to a different conclusion. It is very strange and sometimes I wonder if I have my golf brain engaged at all. It really strange and something I continue to be puzzled about. I often wonder if I really have a golf mind or not!
