It is an exciting time to see the manufactures have to offer, but I left to wonder if all this new kit is just a smoke and mirror shell game designed to sell the same ole golf stuff.

Majority Of Golfers Start Their Warm Up With A….?

If you have 30 minutes to warm up and prepare for your round, what club do you start with to ensure you use this valuable time properly. Do you grab the big dog and let it eat? Or use the flat stick to refine your shoulder movements so you are ready to those pressure putts? Regardless of the club you use, the greatest number of players seem to be like minded and start their warm-up in the same manner. Unfortunately, I am not in the majority on this issue.

Tiger Woods Still Has Star Power for the PGA Tour

It was a 60/40 split, but Tiger Woods is still a huge draw for professional golf. It seems that no matter what is going on, he either on TV or being talked about. Well at least until the end of the tournament and the media has to focus on the leaders. I have to say that I am not surprised because much of the success of modern day golf can be attributed to Tiger Woods.

Adjusting To The New Rules of Golf

After two months of the new rules of golf being in effect, the golfing world has seen some controversy. It is interesting to see what players and fans are choosing to worry about, but that is always the case when major change happens within a community. Golf is no different. Unfortunately, we are still snow bound in the northern climes so it has not affected us that much. But, the potential storm is just on the horizon.
