What is Your Tipping Point?

The definition of a tipping point is “the point at which a series of small changes or incidents becomes significant enough to cause a larger, more important change.” This particular phenomenon is the root of great golf. It helps define a path to success through mini steps of a larger challenge.

Every year, I hope to experience one or two tipping points that leads to lower scores. Last year, unfortunately, I did not achieve a tipping point on any aspect of my game and as a result, I did not really improve. It is a bit disappointing, but that is the nature of amateur golf. Continue reading

Tiger Woods is Back, Again

The long-awaited return of one of the greatest golfers of all time is set to make his return at HERO WORLD CHALLENGE, Albany; New Providence, The Bahamas.

Heeding the advice of his doctors and trainers, Woods didn’t rush his recovery, slowly regained his strength, muscle tone, stamina and endurance, and tweaked his swing.

It has been a long process that challenged his patience and work ethic more than ever before. But for the first time in 466 days, Tiger will return to competitive play Thursday in the Hero World Challenge at Albany in New Providence, Bahamas. The event features an elite 18-player field, including six of the top-10 players in the world ranking, and is hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Now that he is heading back to competitive play, the entire golfing world is wondering if he is here to stay!

Buying Anything Golf

It is that time again. The off-season is here, I conducted my yearly  inventory inspection and realized that I need a new sand wedge. My Titleist Vokey 56° sand wedge shows excessive wear on the grooves, therefore it is time to start my buying process.
