After four years since Jordan Spieth’s last victory, he has a two stroke lead heading into the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Spieth’s last wins (3) occurred 4 years ago in 2017 where he won the Pebble Beach Pro-AM, The Open and The Travelers. Since then, it has been a steady decline in his game from world number one to 115th on the world ranking. However, that all stops today!

Lefty Wins In Pebble Beach

Phil Mickelson has won his 44th PGA Tournament and 51st professional event of his career over the past weekend at Pebble Beach. At 48 years young, he has plenty of game left and demonstrated he still has the ability to compete with the young lions. I am a Mickelson fan; I always have been and I am glad to see that he is still racking up the wins.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is always an interesting event. It is one of few opportunities that amateurs have to loop the course with professional golfers for an entire weekend. Most of the news and excitement centres around the professionals, like Phil Mickelson’s finish on the 72nd hole, but that is not the only exciting golf experienced by the fans.

Phil ‘The Thrill’ Mickelson Rises to the Top

Phil Mickelson thrilled the crowds yesterday with a spectacular 66 on day 3 of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. His amazing stats demonstrated that there is more than one way to score low in golf.

Arguably one of the best wedge players of all time, yesterday he demonstrated that the faith of many was not wasted. His 9 for 9 ‘up-and-down’ day helped fuel his steady rise to the top of the leaderboard. To match his amazing day of scrambling, Mickelson was steady with the short stick.
