There are golfers that play golf, play golf, and play golf. You can not hear the inflection in my voice as you read the first line, but if you think about it……there are three different state of golfer. Every athlete has an inner athlete trying to work its way to the surface. Sometimes the journey is a challenging and other times it is a natural progression. Well, golfers are exactly the same. The challenge I have found during my journey was determining the type of player that best suit my mental and physical capabilities. Finding my inner golfer was a journey, but I think I have a handle on it now.

Hybrids Vs Irons The Same Old Argument
I am not sure how many articles I read regarding the discussion of whether hybrids or irons were best for the amateurs game. Many articles talk about ease of hitting, control, versatility, and overall performance. I am not going to rehash these discussions because I think you have read some of the same articles I have. I will however, recount my experiences over the past 10 years regarding the the use of hybrids and irons and why I have settled on my current set composition.

Considered one of the greatest minds of my lifetime, Albert Einstein is know for may great things. However, he has one quote that I like which applies to my golf game and life as a whole. It is not profoundly earth-shattering, but it does sum up any player trying to reach a goal; in my case to be a scratch golfer.
