Putting is such a personal thing, that it is difficult to have one definitive lesson or process that fits all golfers. If there is one thing that players like myself have figured out is that a pre-shout routine is critical to being a consistent and effective on the green. Every golfer has that one favourite golf club. It is the stick that they can hit consistently and effectively most of the time. Generally, the higher the handicap, the limited number of clubs that you would consider your favourite. However, as you become a lower handicapper, this one club will expand and in my case it has expanded to four. Yup, I have four favourite clubs that I rely on to shoot my lowest golf scores. ->My Worst Round Of The Year!
After 34 rounds of golf posted towards my handicap for the 2020 season, yesterday I post my worst score of the year. I am not really sure how it happened, but I could not seem to get anything rolling. I did not do anything incredibly poor, but I did not do anything brilliant either; it was a bland round that resulted in a very poor score. But not to worry, I am still a grateful golfer and I looking forward to teeing it as soon as possible.
