How important is being in play off the tee anyway? I mean, as long as I am not out of bounds, then hitting the fairway seems to be a luxury. I can whack my way down to the green just as quickly hitting out of the longer grass or edge of the trees and that boring player who hits off the short grass all the time. I think this is an overrated statistic and I am going to focus on other things. If you are the golfer I just described, then I suggest you need to read on because you are heading down the wrong path to improve your golf game.

Accepting Change For The Greater Good
If you are in pursuit of a better golf game, then change is something that must be part of your process. I know for me, it sure is and recently I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Andre for advising me to step out side of my comfort zone. His sage guidance is already starting to pay off and I only see better things ahead in my golfing future.
3-Putting Is The Worst!
I hate to admit it, but I three putt from time to time. Yup, I know it is hard to belief that a four handicap player commits the cardinal mistake to three jacking on the green. It is a disgrace and I should be thrown off the course when I do! Well, that is how I feel in my head, but in reality I do not know of any golfer who does not three putt from time to time. The trick is not to make a habit of it and I believe I have accomplished that goal.

Many golfers lose their way on the golf course when their game suddenly disappears. I was one of those players who would lament about the poor shot and watch as my game self-destructed into oblivion. Years ago, it took nothing at all until I was scrambling and grinding to find my golf swing and hopefully right my golf game so I could post a reasonable score. It is a glorious day for golfers who frequent Osprey Links because all 18 holes are open! This spring has been tough both due to the weather and COVID-19, so being able to play all 18 holes is going to very refreshing. The last time I loop the entire track at Osprey Links was back on 29 September 2019 and let me tell you I miss my ole stomping grounds. Fortunately, we are playing today, but we will have to bundle up because it is going to be cold and wet!
