Today, I am playing in a 3-person with my friends Blair and Rick. It is going to be a great time and our results will depend on who shows up today. All three of us have struggled at various times, however when we are all on, we have a good chance to be in the prizes. Regardless, I like to play with a strategy….at least for the first few holes. 😉

Not Playing To Our Potential In A Charity Scramble
I mentioned playing in my first charity scramble yesterday in support of the North Bay Humane Society. This event is called the Monaghan and Furry Friends Scramble. It was held at Osprey Links Golf Course and again I can say that I was not disappointed.

I enjoy playing in these events because it helps me give back to my community and still play golf. How can this ever be a bad thing?

This introspection guides my goals for the next season, but only if I honestly look at what I accomplished and put it in a perspective I can use. My golf season was wright with ups and downs; as most of us experience. Through the 80+rounds, my driver and putter were the best clubs in my bag. They were my great equalizers during most rounds and during the last round of the Coldwell Cup this week, they did not let me down. They were steady clubs that set up the rest of my game for success.

Not all golf is good for your game! Before you start thinking I am crazy and clicking away; read a bit more and see where I am going. Lately, I have played more scramble tournaments than regular stroke play. It is great fun and I still have an event next week to play before my tournament season starts to wind down. The the real questions is all this tournament play good for my game!
