How important is being in play off the tee anyway? I mean, as long as I am not out of bounds, then hitting the fairway seems to be a luxury. I can whack my way down to the green just as quickly hitting out of the longer grass or edge of the trees and that boring player who hits off the short grass all the time. I think this is an overrated statistic and I am going to focus on other things. If you are the golfer I just described, then I suggest you need to read on because you are heading down the wrong path to improve your golf game.

The Pressure Shot In Golf
Regardless of what sport you play, there is always a time when you are expected to perform under pressure. Golf seems to have more of these exciting moments the most sports. At anytime during a competition, one shot could make or break your event. Just one shot can change to standings by several positions. And the closer we are to the finish line, the more the pressure on each shot mounts. It is exciting and scary at the same time.

Golf is a journey of persistence is nothing new to most readers. As a player with over 40 years invested in the game, I can honestly say I have failed more times than succeeded. Of course, there has to be a benchmark for this statement and fortunately it is a standard set by each player.
