Working Towards Serenity On The Golf Course

When I played golf in the past (actually back about 25 years), extreme bouts of frustration would follow me around the golf course. If I made a poor shot or at least one that I felt should have been better, I would allow my frustration to build until it erupted. I am not proud of this fact, but it is something I think most golfers experience during their journey. My frustration was very much an internal thing, but it would eat away at my ability to play to a point were I had to grind out every shot. Golf was beginning to lose its luster and I actually thought about hanging up my sticks. That is until I made a decision to change!

All Journeys Start With The First Step

As the sun rises on a new path, taking the first step is always the hardest.

I am so happy that 2021 is finally here. As I start my new path towards being a scratch golfer, I think it is important to keep an open mind and to embrace the unexpected opportunities to improve my game. Of course, that is not a new approach, but I think it will help me take my game to the next level.

Now Is The Right Time To Fix Your Golf Game

If you ask every golfer, everyone one will tell you that they have something to fix or work on with respect to their golf game. Yup, I am confident is call this statement to 99.99% true. Personally, I have several areas that continually need fixing and I sometimes get in the trap of waiting for the “right time” to work on my game. Well, that time never happens and sometimes I end up doing nothing. Does that sound familiar?
