Still Learning How To Improve My Golf Game

Virtually every round of golf I play I realize how little I know about golf. There is always something that requires my attention in order to improve my score. And my round yesterday was no different. Every approach shot with my wedges went left. I did not have this problem for a long time, but alas it reared its ugly head again. My distance was fine, but I missed every green left. I am not sure why but I have a good idea. My approach leads me to ask the following: do you self-analyze your golf swing during your game?

What is in Your Golf Bag?

I am not the type of golfer who remains completely loyal to one particular brand. I have tried many brands of clubs over the years and have settled on my current set because these clubs fit that particular aspect of my game. Except for my new irons, I have used the same brand of other clubs for years. For some reason, each fits my game and produces the best results when called upon. I do not find this unusual because I think most golfers finds what works and sticks it.

Nursing a Back Injury

Yup, it is true. For about 5 days, I have nursed a back injury. It happened the last time I was out on the links. After the 16th hole, I felt my back suddenly get tight on the lower right side of my back. Additionally, I felt tightness through out my right hip and as such have kept it cool for the past few days. I actually cancelled two rounds (Wednesday and Thursday) which is rare for me, but it was the smart thing to do! I am on the road to recovery and let me explain what I am doing.
