Being Mindful Today

Life continues to plod along whether we want it to or not. It never stops and for the most part, it is at a pace that allows us to enjoy the ride. I do not have any real golf musings today, but wanted to share a couple of thoughts.

The first is about our short game:

Chipping Phil Mickelson

The short game is how we save strokes!

As you go through this Thursday, remember to create the day you want!

Walk and smell the roses.

I hope everyone has an awesome day. I am sending every one of you positive thoughts!

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

  2. I was trying to be mindful today on the range, but I could have used your article before I went I think. There was a 16 mph wind in my face so I tried to kill it a few times. By kill it, I mean just that I allowed my left arm to bend so I could see my club head in peripheral vision. That is a death knell for consistency for me and something I have to fight off too often still. I do better on the course with it, but at the range, I have a little more trouble. Maybe because thee is no score involved or something. But it ends up making me wonder why I allowed myself to do it when I have already proven to myself that I can actually get more club head speed as well as better accuracy if I don’t.

Oh well, I can’t complain. It was a nice enough day sans wind and I got to spend a couple hours doing what I love. So all in all, just another day in paradise. I hope all of yours were equally enjoyable.
