The month before the holidays is a very slow one for me with respect to thinking about golf. I am feverishly finishing tasks that include outdoor and indoor work so we can enjoy the holiday season. Because life things are happening, I spend very little time thinking about golf; it is my winter lull so to speak. This does not mean that golf is losing its shine for me, it just means that with snow on the ground and the holiday season almost in full bloom, the luster is a bit clouded. So, I am not currently thinking about golf.
As my long winter nap starts to take hold, I do remind myself that now is the time to start preparing for next year. I know I am kidding myself and will not start much until after the New year. For now, I will keep trying to find things to write about, grab a coffee, and try to craft something worth reading. But for today, I will leave you with this message:

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
Heresy. 😂 No time for napping or any of that mundane weather prep stuff. There’s a net calling your name. I hear it all the way down here. It’s a mournful, plaintive cry that brings me sadness until I remember that I’ll be on the course again tomorrow playing in 89F weather with a 7mph breeze gusting to 13. 😏 If it makes you feel any better, it’s going to be cloudy and we 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 be sweating. A little. lol
Then again, maybe that mournful, plaintive call is coming from my car. It wasn’t been washed except by tropical storms all summer. 🤣
