What Are You Doing For Your Golf Game?

Many golfers have an off-season. I am one of those who have a six month wait from the last time I play until opening season. I still have three months to go, actually 89 days, and because of that, I need to find interesting ways to keep working on my golf game. Of course I write (not as much as I should), I do work out a bit, and I do swing my clubs in my garage, but is all this enough to keep my game semi sharp for the the next season. I am not sure, but it will have to do because I do not have any other options. Or is it?

Well, recently another option showed up on my news feed. Another option:

“Gateway Golf Ltd is thrilled to announce its upcoming arrival in North Bay, Ontario! Our facility will be located at 245 Oak St E North Bay and is the perfect destination for all golf enthusiasts. With our state-of-the-art  Golfzon Twovision Simulators, you can enjoy a realistic and immersive golfing experience all year round with over 230 courses. But that’s not all! Our facility also offers top-notch food and beverage services, ensuring that you can satisfy your cravings while perfecting your swing. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, our welcoming and friendly atmosphere is sure to make your visit to Gateway Golf Ltd an unforgettable experience.” So mark your calendars and get ready to swing into action! Gateway Golf Ltd is coming soon, and we can’t wait to share our passion for golf with North Bay and Area!” NB Chamber of Commerce.

Yup, a golf simulator is coming to my area. I hope that it opens soon because I can hardly wait to swing some clubs at a simulator. And as a side note, when the new business opens, I plan on using both my hickory sticks and normal sticks. Additionally, I plan on asking my group of friends if they want to make a standing tee time. I think that it will be fun play a few times over my long winter’s nap.

Waiting for golf is not fun. However, with this new business showing up, maybe this off-season will something to look forward too.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

  1. I found this today. It’s my little eye trick being promoted by a pro

Hope you enjoy the simulator. I’m not a huge fan per se, but I know I’d use them way more often if I had to deal with your winters.

Playing courses the first few times was a little bit of a let down. I wasn’t dealing with aiming well at all. But I did feel like using it for swing practice was useful. Getting real numbers can leave your head swimming but just picking one number to work on and watching it change I found very interesting.

It really made me want to understand a little better though so I could make better use of them someday. Hope you enjoy the journey.
