Normally, I forecast the start of golf season for 15 April. It normally ends on 31 Oct, but I stop playing before then. So, that equates to six months of no golf due to weather. As spring tries to beat back the winter (in temperatures anyway) I anxiously wait for the amazing news that my local golf course is open. Well, I am still waiting and trying to forecast that momentous news is impossible at this time. So, what is a person to do in the meantime?
Normally, I have a whole list of things I do that are physical in nature. However, stretching and walking (being the main two) are starting a bit slow this year. I will get back into it I am sure. It is only a matter of time. Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating today.

The above view is from my front window this morning. As you can see, much of the snow is gone and that brings me hope that the rest will disappear quickly. Unfortunately, we received a weather warning for up to 25 cm (10 inches) of snow in the next 24 hours. Those are the maximum forecasted snowfall amounts, but I mean “come on”!
Now that I regained my composure, I have to remind myself of how grateful I am for living in this beautiful country. Given my opportunities to play golf, I am just whining today and will now snap out of my funk. Thanks for listening and I hope everyone has an awesome day!
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
That’s truly depressing for a fellow addict. 🫨
Especially one as spoiled as I am. 😂 Haven’t missed playing at least nine holes a day for weeks. The future looks to see the end of the perfect temps but it was 70 out again today. It just doesn’t get any better.
Hope the turmoil ends for you. ⛳🏌️♂️

Thanks Kevin. Except for the -19° C this am, the temperatures are about to make a shift to warmer weather. That is the hope at least. 😉
Cheers Jim
