Have you ever been on the course when everything is going beyond all expectations? I have and unfortunately it does not happen as often as I want. However, when it does happen I revel in its glory and enjoy the moment. Additionally, I have the confidence to try new things and not worrying if it would work out; fortunately, it usually does!

Fighting to Keep My Game Relevant
At what point does trying to play fall golf become to burdensome to accomplish. Given the weather in my location, golfing opportunities are becoming rare. This transition becomes frustrating and I can only dress in so many layers before swinging the clubs is too difficult. Add into this rain, then this is a recipe for disaster. However, even though the weather and life challenges of moving are throwing curve balls, I am still swinging away hoping to connect at least two or three times before the end of October.

My golf season was wright with ups and downs; as most of us experience. Through the 80+rounds, my driver and putter were the best clubs in my bag. They were my great equalizers during most rounds and during the last round of the Coldwell Cup this week, they did not let me down. They were steady clubs that set up the rest of my game for success.

I decided to look for a 4 hybrid yesterday and even hit a few at Golf Town. They were all 22 degrees and had a stiff shaft. I set up in the hitting area with their launch monitor and began to bang away. Unfortunately, I have not hit balls in quite some time so my results were less than stellar. But, I did learn something!

I recently ran a poll and found that throwing clubs (at least once in their career) was not that uncommon. We all see the professionals launching their tools great distances, but it is not something that is supported by a majority of the fans. I for one do not support it, but understand the frustration that can occur from time to time.
