I decided to look for a 4 hybrid yesterday and even hit a few at Golf Town. They were all 22 degrees and had a stiff shaft. I set up in the hitting area with their launch monitor and began to bang away. Unfortunately, I have not hit balls in quite some time so my results were less than stellar. But, I did learn something!

Throwing Golf Clubs – A No-No For Sure
I recently ran a poll and found that throwing clubs (at least once in their career) was not that uncommon. We all see the professionals launching their tools great distances, but it is not something that is supported by a majority of the fans. I for one do not support it, but understand the frustration that can occur from time to time.

Well, I accomplished my goal of having a great time on the links yesterday. I played with Blair and Rick (my usual crew), the weather was perfect and the is in the best shape of the year. The round took about 4 hours and we waited on every hole during the back nine; regardless of waiting so much, it was a perfect round on a perfect day.
