Golfers Are Never Really Satisfied With Their Score

If you play golf a little more than occasionally, you probably developed the habit of being dissatisfied with your golf score. Before you say that this is not true and start a list of why I am out in left field, think of your last game. Now, thing about how many strokes you left on the course that could have easily lowered your score. Now, think about how many times have you played this exact scenario on your head walking off the 18 green or having a libation in the clubhouse. Kind of makes you think……right?

Is Golf Over For The Season?

The weather is not cooperating at all and it makes we wonder if golf season is over. Dropping A Club From Your Bag

Like most golfers, I carry 14 clubs. My intent is to always use them in the proper situation with success. Of course, that does not always happen, but I believe have all the legal number clubs in my bag is better than not having them. For fun, I asked a bunch of golfers on Twitter which club they would give up…..if they had too! Well, the responses for the most part were expected, but a few were a bit surprising!

How Soon Does Rust Show Up In Your Golf Game

Fall golf does have a tendency to reek havoc on my golf game. As I generally play 4 times a week with no more than a two day layoff between games, my golf game stays pretty sharp most of the time. However, due to the weather challenges and life commitments, I can go 4 or 5 days without swinging a club. I do have my practice area at my house, but generally I am busy or the weather does not cooperate to make it of any use. Alas, when I have a prolong break, I notice rust starting to form. Does this happen to you?

Senior Men’s Golf Rained Out Again

Well, it is that time of year. Yesterday Senior Men’s day was cancelled due to rain…..again. This week looked to be great fun with a jumble of scrambles mixed between the different pars. We will have to just wait until next week as our registration was pushed until then. Fortunately, I do not have to make up for the lost day as I am playing 3 out of the next 4 days.
