Understanding the basics of golf is more challenging that we think….or is it? Jack Nicklaus, arguably the greatest golfer of all time, has a series of videos that discuss many aspects of how to play golf. His first video, which will be highlighted here today, is probably the most important of all because it sets the foundation for our natural golf swing. If you are a beginner, or even an experience player like myself, it is important to heed what Jack says because we can move to more advance aspects of the game with the proper fundamentals. Band Aid Solutions For Your Golf Swing
Recently, a friend of mine asked me about a solution he found on YouTube about how to hit the ball more consistently off the fairway. Without going into a great amount of detail about the video he watched, it sparked the inspiration for today’s article. As a progressive golfer, I am always on the look for potential tips that would improve my golf game. I set a goal this year to increase my distance off the tee by at least 10 yards. I believe, although I am getting older, that this distance goal is a reasonable milestone that I can achieve without having to redesign my entire golf swing. I think I have a fundamentally strong swing and as such I am looking to tweak minor aspects of my game. Fortunately, I was introduced to the three “T” to help develop power and possibly achieve one of my 2021 goals.

As an amateur, learning to properly hit a punch shot is important to keep our golf scores low. This type of shot is designed to fly close to the ground in order to avoid obstacles that would impede our progress. Generally, this takes for in the way of branches, because we hit a wayward shot, from trees that suddenly decided to get in our way. Regardless of the obstruction, learning to hit a punch shot is very important to ensure we can extricate our ball out of difficult situations with the least amount of strokes.
