Golf is an exhilarating and frustrating sport. I can to from the high of highs to the low of lows in just one or two strokes. Being mentally capable of ‘rolling with it’ is something I developed over the years. Unfortunately, I have found that, lately, I am more vocal over poor shots than in the past. I am not sure why, but it is time to stop the negative thinking and to focus on being positive regardless of my golf swing. After 34 rounds of golf posted towards my handicap for the 2020 season, yesterday I post my worst score of the year. The toughest game is the ‘dog fight’, which we played last Thursday for Senior Men’s. We played great, but did not gain any ground on the top team.

I feel that I play enough in the good weather not to worry about missing a day or two, now and again. I am not sure if this is good strategy for my overall game, but that is the one I have adopted this year.
