In my younger years, I loved playing side games that would garner me a little bit of pocket change. Nothing serious, I think the most I ever lost or won was $5. Definitely not a Princely sum, but it was fun playing and I do miss it from time to time. Now, I rarely play any side games except with my friend Mike C. He is always looking for a side game and it is fun play head to head against someone.

Yes, you read the heading correctly. In my current inventory of golf supplies I own more golf bags than golf gloves. I think I in the minority for this fact, but I cannot really prove it. So, lets just say that I am unique! All joking aside, I actually have about seven golf bags, but only two that I actually use. The rest are storing my spare golf clubs, therefore I do not count them in my total. With this fact, I still have more golf bags than gloves!

What was your best start ever on the links? Recently, I was thinking about my best start and realized that it I have started at three under after three holes on 4 occasions; not bad considering I have played over thousands of rounds. Each of these rounds started with three birdies and continued on cruise control for most of the round. But more of that later!

Every golfer loves to start their round on a hole of a specific par. Some prefer a wide open tee shot or a short approach into the green. Regardless of your preference, there is a course out there that suits your desires. I have two stories about wonderful courses that offer unique challenges to my game. I loved playing both the courses, but to score well, I had get past the first hole in order to have a chance at shooting a low golf score.

If you like watch older golf videos of great players, then you likely have watched the Tiger Twirl. This happens when Tiger Woods hits a fantastic shot and spins his club around in a sort of celebration type move. It really is cool to watch and in his younger years he really put a lot of effort into this particular aspect of his showmanship. I am not sure it was intention, but it sure is fun to watch.
