Yesterday, I played what is likely my last round of 2020. I know I have said this before, but the temperatures are really starting to turn and rain is in the forecast for the next 6 of 7 days. So, the chances of me rushing to the golf course is very low. However, yesterdays round of 79 was a great way to finish 2020 and I notice some cool things that I thought I would share.

Golf Season Is Basically Over
It is that time of year when I look at putting my golf clubs away. The wet temperatures and cooler weather is the key indicator that it might be time to go through my end of season routine. 😦 😡
Although my clubs are still in my golf locker, I mean my car, I think they are starting go gather dust from lack of use. It is a matter of time (very short in fact) before I pull them out, clean them, and store them for the winter.

Yesterday’s round went as expected. I hit some very good shots; hit some mediocre shots; and hit some poor shots. The two poor shots I have in mind were set up exactly the same and I missed in the same way. I am very disappointed because these poor shots turned easy birdie chances to scrambling pars. As the summer transitions to fall, I need to take steps to be prepared for the change in weather and course conditions. As it turns out for the next two weeks, we are going to experience an average daily temperature of 18° C (65° F). This means lots of dew in the morning, less carry because it is cooler, and less touch when chipping because my ball will be harder. Fear not, I am used to this time of year and have a fail proof plan!
