Over the last year of golf, I worked on focusing on a smaller and smaller contact point and aiming point. I found that this small change in my mental approach has helped improved my contact on the ball. It was not a revelation but and evolution of my game. It is something that I adopted many years ago, but not with focused intent I have now. It really is something new, but not, if you know what I mean.

Disasters Happens On The Golf Course
For many golfers, the headline catches our attention immediately. We have had experienced one form of disaster on the golf course and that event raced to the forefront of our thoughts. Limiting the scope of this article, I removed any uncontrollable medical or physical injuries to focus on a few aspects of our game that can cause a disaster to the final outcome of our round. Nonetheless, these events are real and seem to appear out of normal. Learning new skills can be a challenge in golf. The issue is identifying the challenge and devising a drill or fix to help lower your golf score. Recently, I tried changing my short game with little success and have reverted back to my old style of chipping. The techniques I use first helped me break 90 and as I continued to improve I was able to break 80. By building the core fundamentals of chipping, my game was taken to a new level.
