Bug Spray and Golf – Part 2

One of the must haves in any golf bag is bug spray. In Canada, especially in the more northern locations, golfing without bug spray is not conducive to a fun round on the links. During various times of the summer, different insects can chase you from the course if you are not prepared.

At my home course of Osprey Links Golf Course in Callander, Ontario, different holes have their own species of bugs. So, it is important to have some sort of protection from these pesky insects so they do not become a hazard in their own right. I have to admit, I was finding it hard to write about golf for today. I seem to have a mental block or something, but I finally decided on the following topic. How do you keep score when playing golf. It seems like a strange topic, yet I assure you there is a plethora (nice word) of ways to determine your score. They all have their advantages and depending on the day, I will choose from any of them.

A Round Of Golf Leaves You Feeling…….

Golf is an emotional game. Regardless of how well you play, you have a sense of something walking off the 18th green. I can tell you that over the years I have felt the entire gambit of emotions, however most of the time I feel grateful and wanting more! There is rarely a day that I walk away frustrated or upset because I played a round of golf. However, this is not the case for everyone and I often wondered why.
