I was taught to minimize my wrist movements during my putting stroke. I have used this lesson throughout the years and feel I have a fairly solid putting stroke. I have tinkered with it over the years and have settled on my current stroke that involves very little wrist action. After watching a Brad Faxon video, I might wonder if I need to change or at least experiment with moving my wrists slightly while putting. I will have to think about that for a while, but the conversation is important.

The Perfect Putting Tip That Will Save You Stokes
There are about 504,000,000 putting tips on the internet. How do I know this, well I used google so it has to be completely true……right> 🙂 All joking aside, there are so many putting tips out there that I could not even describe the depth and berth of areas they cover. I have tried a bunch (number actually unknown) and some have helped. Others did not fit my putting game and had to be discarded. But, through all of my efforts to improve my short game I did find one putting tip that was a sure fire winner. It is something I always do and feel it is the primary reason for my success on the green.

As I was perusing my video feeds, I found one that caught my interest. This putting tip, as laid out, is a good one. As I watched it, I found that this drill has other applications which I think as equal or more value. It is a simple, easy, repeatable and provides instant feedback (my must haves for any golf tip). I cannot count the number of references (maybe using reference is overly kind) that offer the key to great putting. There is no aspects of the putting stroke that has not been analyzed. I created my own 5 part putting series, but that was more a ‘world according to’ than a definitive bible on how to putt.
