Golf Infographic – 3-6-9 Putting Drill

I have found this putting drill very useful improving my ability to make those clutch short putts. Sometimes called a star drill, I have my version called 3-6-9 drill. I used it recently to correct my putting woes. I was hitting the ball off the toe of my putter for some reason. I know now, I was coming over the top with my putting stroke. All fixed! Net Match Play Competition

I played my first match play last week and things did not go as I had hoped. It was a great match and my competitor Rich was fun to get to know. Leading After 18 Holes

The first round of our 2-day stroke play tournament to make the base golf team is over. The conditions were the toughest of the year with a steady 35 kpm wind and intermittent rain. Regardless, it is always interesting to watch players react to a lucky bounce and if you wear your heart on your sleeve, things can be even more dramatic. However, it is what we do after the lucky bounce that really counts; a positive reaction can lead to low golf scores. And this is the real key for my golf game. Continue reading
