I don’t know about you, but I love lucky bounces. It always brings a smile to my face because my bad luck turned to good fortune. I have written about lucky bounces before and the one of the top of the cart marker is my best. Regardless, lucky bounces are the best; just ask Jerry Kelly!

The Grateful Golfer 
I had a great lucky bounce last weekend playing Bacon Park Golf course hole #15, par 4. I was five feet off the green with the pin 10 feet back. I grabbed my pitching wedge for a bump and run. Instead of the desired shot with a gentle lob and run, I skulled it sending the ball six feet in the air and flying off the green. UNTIL, it hit the flag six inches from the top and dropped six inches from the cup. Tap in par thank you very much. Whew.
