I continue to chip and putt every day in preparation for spring. We are just a few weeks away, but I am always willing to try new things before the ranges open. Kevin, a constant supporter of The Grateful Golfer, pointed out a video about setting the club first before aligning our body when making a golf shot. I admit that I have done this in the past, but seem to have gotten away from the habit. It might be time to revisit this approach. Additionally, the video offered some other excellent tips that I thought are worth sharing. Take a look!
Continuing to practice indoors is critical to a fast start this year. I missed most of last season and plan to take advantage of the ability to play full time in 2019. I expect I can transition to outdoor practice very soon, but in the meantime I plan will do something every day.
Lastly, I want to mention fitness. I plan to writing a more detailed article soon, but it is important to focus on physically getting ready as well. I have to admit, that this aspect of my indoor preparation is a tad more challenging this year. But, now that I can feel the warmer weather heading our way, I will have to mentally hunker down and get to it.
Do you have any indoor drills you consistently do in the off-season? If so, please share.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
